Malta

Comino, derived from the Maltese word Kemmuna, is the smallest inhabited island of the Maltese archipelago. Only attraction of the island is „the blue lagoon “, a 120 meter broad passage between Comino and its in the west pre-aged reef named Cominotto. Here the water is clearly like glass and coloured in the most different tourquoise variations.

Cominotto (on Maltese Kemmunett) is an uninhabited island rock of the Republic of Malta. Its surface amounts to only 0.25 sq.km. It is pre-aged to the island Comino at their west coast, in a distance from approximately 100 m.

Filfla (on Maltese Filfola) is an uninhabited island rock of the Republic of Malta. Its surface amounts to 6 hectars. It is situated 5 km in the south, in front of the main island Malta and is thus the most southern point of the Maltese archipelago.

Gozo (spoken on Maltese Għawdex) is the second largest island of the Republic of Malta. Particularly in the spring months Gozo is clearly greener than its sister island Malta. The moreover there are several underground water occurrences, which could be drilled for the agricultural management of the country on Gozo.

The island Malta is the largest island of the Malta archipelago and name - giver for the State of Malta, lain in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is 246 square kilometers large, the furthest distance of one coastal point to the other amounts to 27 kilometers.

St. Pauls Island is an uninhabited island rock of the Republic of Malta. It is about 100 m far away from the coast at the western end of the St. Pauls Bay and has only a surface of less than 0,1 sq.km.
